We support all our pupils to achieve their best and to enable and empower. All pupils at Bayside are treated with unconditional positive regard, with each individual member of our community valued. This approach is matched within our positive behaviour policy.

Alongside a skilled Learning Support Team, our Inclusion Team provide personal care and attention to pupils who are experiencing challenge within their own lives and may be vulnerable. This team also support pupils when transferring to secondary schools.

Our pastoral support team are skilled at working sensitively with pupils with a wide and complex range of needs. They work with children both in class and within a specialist room in order to build relationships to enable successful engagement with learning. This support also commonly provides structured direction in working with others and building effective social relationships.

Safeguarding is taken incredibly seriously, with leadership supporting the Inclusion team to ensure that our robust safeguarding procedures allow for secure child protection procedures and practices to be implemented effectively.
