Developing self-confidence and self-esteem so that pupils believe that they can succeed

We enable and empower our pupils through ‘whole’ development, which not only considers academic development, but also social and personal. Pupils’ self-control and focus is supported through a consistent, structured teaching environment and the high expectations that we live every day. Furthermore, we actively teach Social and Emotional Development as part of our PSHE curriculum, with an overall aim of pupils being self-aware in a range of situations and developing the ability to self-regulate effectively at these times.
