Believing every pupil can achieve -identifying and rewarding achievement and individual successes.

The belief that everyone can achieve is core to our school. Pupils know when they have succeeded in their activities through direct and written feedback. We reward children with stars to celebrate success in any element of school life and these stars are totalled as part of our school house system (Brownsea, Arne, Kimmeridge and Studland houses, named after local coastal areas). The children are then awarded wit star badges to sew onto their jumpers for every 100 stars that they earn. These badges are given out in assembly every Friday during Celebration Assembly, when a member of each class is also awarded a ‘High Achiever of the Week’ certificate by their class teacher to celebrate a particular achievement.
